About this campsite
Clifton Golf Course was redesigned in 1980 by Ross Watson who recently designed the upgrade of Sanctuary Cove. Since then there have been some subtle changes, mostly to tee positions. This a course that rewards straight hitters and bites hard on the reckless. Plenty of challenges on all the holes and the subtlety of the greens is legendary. Carts are available during business hours. There is a nine hole 'Sporters' comp on Tuesdays afternoon and a twelve hole 'Hackers' comp on Friday afternoon. Visitors, beginners and non-members are welcome. Saturday is usually a fun day but Sunday is serious golf. Call 0477958522 on play days or 0427973638. This course is not as simple as it looks! Absolutely great place to stay and only $20 for 2 rounds of golf AND an overnight stay! Nice to wake up in the morning to see all the wallabies around the course and the birds singing. Magical! You will need to be self sufficient as this is a small club and the clubhouse and facilities are not open unless there are members playing a round.
