Managed by Scouts Canada since 1946, the property features over 30 tree species, hiking trails, an environmentally sensitive creek, and Lake Samac for paddling. Eight winterized cabins accommodate 10 to 80 people with bunks, mattresses, heating, and separate kitchens; the largest, Kitchie Lodge, includes shower facilities. Campsites have fire pits, and amenities include municipal water taps and flush privies throughout the grounds.
