Bugaboo Creek

Bugaboo Creek is a recreation site situated on the forested banks of Bugaboo Creek near Invermere in the Kootenay region of British Columbia. Managed as part of the Recreation Sites program, the site offers four primitive campsites with pit toilets and is dog-friendly. It serves primarily as a base camp for hikers accessing trails into Bugaboo Provincial Park, including routes to Bugaboo Pass, Chalice Creek, and Silver Basin. The location provides upstream views toward the granite spires of the Bugaboo range. Accessed via gravel logging road from Brisco on Highway 95, approximately 44 kilometres north of Invermere, the site attracts those seeking a quieter alternative to busier Rocky Mountain parks while exploring the Purcell Mountains.
