Big Waterhouse Lake Camping Area sits on the northern shore of Big Waterhouse Lake within Waterhouse Conservation Area, approximately 34 kilometres north-east of Bridport. This free campsite offers no facilities, so visitors must be completely self-sufficient with water, toilet provisions and waste disposal. The site is primarily used by duck hunters and anglers, with activities including fishing, kayaking and exploring the conservation area's diverse wetland communities and vegetation. Campfires are permitted and the area is accessible to caravans and campers. Dogs on leads are welcome. Mobile reception is available. The campground operates on a first-in, best-served basis with no bookings required.
