About this campsite

Bemboka Sportsground, managed by the Lions Club, is a full-service camping area offering amenities such as toilets, BBQ, and power facilities. The ideal location by the river, pairs beautifully with access to Bemboka River Reserve, featuring the largest segment of Lowland Grassy Woodland in the Bega Valley. Obtain a key for shower access from the Crystals & Lace shop in town. The site also serves as a perfect base for visiting Bega, Tathra, Candelo, and Cooma. Don't forget to indulge at the famed Bemboka Pie Shop!

The camping area has been provided by the local Lions Club and encourages users to call into the Crystals & Lace shop in town to pick up a key for access to the showers. There is a fee plus a key return deposit payable. There a 2 power outlets attached to the side of the BBQ that can be used. There is one water outlet with a standard hose fitting. Immediately opposite the sportsground to the north is the Bemboka River Reserve, the largest and most intact remnant of Lowland Grassy Woodland known in the Bega Valley. Access to the Reserve is via steps down to Colombo Creek and a small walking bridge across the creek. This camp could be used as a base to visit Bega, Tathra, Candelo & Cooma. A great place for overnight or longer stay. The Bemboka Pie Shop is a must visit.
