In the nearby village, you'll find additional facilities including toilets near Quaama Hall and BBQ amenities close to the General Store. Bega Showground is a popular camping location where all size rigs can be accommodated. The site comprises essential amenities, like toilets, hot showers, laundry, and a public dump point. While most of the camping area is on sloping land requiring leveling blocks, it is conveniently close - an easy 800m walk - to the main shopping centre. Visitors can expect a robust mobile phone signal for all carriers and good TV reception.

Aloomba Lavender offers a relaxing experience in Queensland's Granite Belt. The lavender harvest was successful, but the heat can make working tiring. Visitors, particularly campers and RV owners, are often wonderfully friendly and our location is gaining popularity. Planning is underway for the upcoming Granite Belt festival at the end of June and early July, and campsite bookings are recommended. Although our shop is closed in February, we remain available for camping and enjoy meeting the touring coach groups we often host.

However, note that the Tidal River watercourse and related amenities are currently closed due to certain conditions.
