How to Get There

14.5km north-east of St George. Proceed to waypoint 13.5km north-east of St George on Carnarvon Highway. Turn north-west and follow for 1km, turning left at 1st grid continuing to camping area on eastern bank of Balonne River. The turn off at the waypoint from the Carnarvon Highway is now sealed all of the way to the E. J. Beardmore Dam wall. The turn off left at the 1st grid is dirt to the camp area.
